Tammy Manko, director of the CPDC, is impressed with the enhanced security offered by QuadJobs in an effort to prohibit scam jobs being advertised to Ä¢¹½tv students. "The creators of QuadJobs monitor all jobs posted and remove any that look suspicious," Manko said.

Certain job categoriesraise red flags and usually require follow-up to ensure credibility. The QuadJobs system requires employers to enter a valid credit card in order to post a job, since studies suggest that up to 95 percent of potential fraudulent posts are avoided by requiring credit cards.

According to Manko, "The system also has a report a job' button on the site so that students can have a job/employer removed immediately if they feel something is not right."
