Thank you for your commitment to keeping our community safe and well by continuing to follow our COVID-19 protocols.
As we look forward to the Thanksgiving recess November 22–28, know that after this break from classes, Ä¢¹½tv will resume on-campus, face-to-face classes and activities as scheduled. Classes established in the distance-education format will continue in that format.
In order to help members of the Ä¢¹½tv community protect themselves and others, especially in the case of travel away from campus, additional hours for free student COVID-19 testing will be offered November 15, 16, and 17 (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday) at the Ä¢¹½tv Health Service. Testing will be offered from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on those dates. Testing results will be available before end of day Friday, November 19.
Established testing hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Ä¢¹½tv Health Service will continue to be offered through November 19.
Free COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters, as well as flu shots, continue to be available through the Ä¢¹½tv Health Service for both students and employees. Vaccinations will be available during the extended hours November 15, 16, and 17 and during regular office hours.
Appointments are required for testing and vaccinations; appointments can be made online or by calling the Ä¢¹½tv Health Service at 724-357-2550. The Health Service will be closed for patient care and COVID-19 testing November 22–26.
While residence halls will be closed during the Thanksgiving recess, students who need to remain in self-isolation in Delaney Hall due to COVID-19 are able to do so.
Free student COVID-19 testing and free COVID-19 and flu vaccinations for students and employees will resume at the Ä¢¹½tv Health Service when it reopens for patient care November 29 (after the Thanksgiving recess). COVID-19 testing will continue to be offered Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. until the Ä¢¹½tv Health Service closes for patient care December 10.
Updated information about testing hours, COVID-19 student cases, and vaccinations and boosters will be posted on the Ä¢¹½tv COVID-19 Response Plan website.
Best wishes for a healthy and enjoyable Thanksgiving recess.
