Through coordination with the Indiana County Coroner's Office and in response to the family's wishes, I am saddened to inform you that Ä¢¹½tv freshman Brenton Croll, 18, Roaring Springs, a nursing major living on campus, died, Wednesday, March 18, in a friend's on-campus residence hall room.
The Indiana County Coroner is working to determine the cause of death.
Obviously the death of any Ä¢¹½tv student is tragic and difficult to bear for members of the Ä¢¹½tv community. I am sure you join me in expressing concern and sympathy for Brenton's friends and family.
The Ä¢¹½tv Counseling Center provides walk-in crisis counseling to students on a daily basis. Students also may call the Counseling Center at 724-357-2621 to make an appointment or to speak to a counselor. A 24-hour crisis hotline is available at , 724-465-2605.
Details regarding funeral arrangements and a memorial service will be shared at a later date.
