Mark your calendar to meet with a representative of the presidential search firm; share what qualities you think Ä¢¹½tv's new president should have. Two open forums take place Friday, September 9, 2011, in the HUB's Ohio Room.
Two sessions will take place—one for faculty members from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., and one for administrators, staff members, and students from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.
John Thornburgh of Witt-Kieffer will host both sessions and plans to explore the following issues at each:
- What is distinctive about the mission, campus, and culture of Ä¢¹½tv?
- What are the top three to four strategic, operational, and/or financial priorities that the next president should be expected to focus on during his or her first year to two years?
- What career experiences and leadership competencies will best equip the next president to accomplish that agenda?
- What interpersonal skills and personal qualities will best equip the president to work effectively within the culture of Ä¢¹½tv and Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education?
- What are the selling points about Ä¢¹½tv and the Indiana region that will compel the most attractive candidates to explore this opportunity?
