On Friday, April 4, 2014, the Military Resource Center held an opening celebration to officially introduce the center to the Ä¢¹½tv community. The center has been operating since January.
The celebration included refreshments, a tour of the facility, and remarks by university constituents and others who helped make the center a reality.
Colonel Stephen G. Abel, (U.S. Army, Retired), a 1973 Ä¢¹½tv graduate, provided guidance in the planning stages of the center and was in attendance. Abel was also inducted into Ä¢¹½tv's ROTC Hall of Fame the next day.
