Established in June 1998 in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Foundation for Ä¢¹½tv, the Community Volunteer Service Award recognizes the volunteer commitment demonstrated by the Foundation's board of directors throughout the years.
This award also honors the volunteer spirit of students at Ä¢¹½tv who demonstrate outstanding volunteer service that reflects positively on the university and makes a difference in the lives of community residents and society as a whole.
Candidates for the award must meet the following guidelines:
- Must have earned a minimum of 24 credit hours by the end of the spring 2020 semester;
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student in good academic standing at Ä¢¹½tv at the time of application;
- Must be a returning full-time student in good academic standing to Ä¢¹½tv for the 2020-21 academic year;
- Must be engaged in volunteer community service that exceeds any volunteer service required as part of a class project, membership, scholarship, or other obligatory circumstance in order to be eligible for this award.
