Students at Experience Ä¢¹½tv

Come to Ä¢¹½tv’s admitted student program, Experience Ä¢¹½tv!

This is an event exclusively for admitted students to learn more about what it is like to be part of the Ä¢¹½tv community. You will be able to learn more about the many ways in which Ä¢¹½tv provides opportunities and supports student success.

The program will begin at 9:00 a.m. The required components of the event will last until approximately 1:00 p.m. Optional campus tours and the optional orientation event will take place during the afternoon. 

At Experience Ä¢¹½tv, you will:

  • Meet with faculty and students from your intended major
  • Explore department facilities and classrooms
  • Learn about student services and support designed for your success
  • Have the option to take a residence hall only or a full campus tour
It's not just about the serious stuff, though. We have some fun stuff for you to do, too:
  • Get a picture with Norm, our mascot
  • Eat lunch in North Dining Hall
  • Meet other students admitted to Ä¢¹½tv just like you
  • Get a free T-shirt

Special Opportunity

Incoming freshmen who have submitted the tuition deposit can add their Ä¢¹½tv Orientation to this Experience Ä¢¹½tv! All students have to complete orientation (and we don't provide a course schedule until you have). By completing orientation while at this event, you save yourself a trip later this summer, and you will be among the first students advised for registration. This is optional, but highly encouraged for those students who qualify.

You don’t have to be committed yet! Most students are still deciding, and some already know that Ä¢¹½tv is the one. This program is here for you to ask questions and get answers wherever you are in your college choice process. 

A few notes:

  • Registration is required. Because we work to ensure that all students who attend are able to speak with faculty and students from the major into which they were admitted, we need to know that you are planning to attend.
