What's Happening for Criminology Majors
As an undergraduate criminology major, you can join organizations specifically for criminology students.
This student organization is for criminology majors and minors. It sponsors a number of speakers from across the field of criminology/criminal justice and philanthropic events throughout the year. Each spring, the Criminology Association cosponsors a career fair with the Career and Professional Development Center. The organization also is involved in service to the community.
For over half a century, Alpha Phi Sigma has continued to foster its four ideals: academic excellence, unity, leadership, and service. Designated in 1976 as the National Criminal Justice Honor Society, Ä¢¹½tv's local chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma conducts numerous fundraising and service activities and regularly attends the national conference, where members compete for scholarships and network with leading criminal justice professionals.
