Congratulations are in order for Ä¢¹½tv Department of Music alumnus Ed Yasick, Jr. who was named 2019 High School Choral Teacher of the Year by theNorth Carolina Music Educator's Association High School Choral Section.
Yasick earned a music education degree at Ä¢¹½tv in 1991. While at Ä¢¹½tv, he studied piano with James Staples and organ with Carol Teti. Yasick has taught at Cary High School in Cary, North Carolina, since 1996.
Yasick was featured in a . Students, faculty, and staff gave him the royal treatment by celebrating his accomplishment in by the Wake County Public School System.
