Kevin Eisensmith, retired professor of trumpet at Ä¢¹½tv, recently returned from a one-week trumpet festival held in Orvieto, Italy. Accompanying him were members of the Ä¢¹½tv trumpet studio, including Miles Basinger (Meadville, PA), Justin Bianconi (Loretto, PA), Sarah Cisney (Greencastle, PA), Austin Fontenoy (Clearfield, PA), Richard Janicsko (Vintondale, PA), Bryn Miller (Beech Creek, PA), and Alexander Robbins (Huntingdon, PA).  All are music education majors at Ä¢¹½tv.

During the festival, Eisensmith and the students participated in daily rehearsals, clinics, and master classes, and performed in three different concerts. Classes in “survival Italian” and how to haggle with vendors were also presented. Find out more information about the .

Following the festival, the group spent two days sightseeing in Rome before returning to the United States.
