Long-term permits are for students that live in the residence halls.

Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate students living in the Ä¢¹½tv residence halls can purchase a permit for the Long-Term Robertshaw parking lot, located at 110 Robertshaw Dr. The lot is three-fourths of a mile from the center of campus and is located next to the Ä¢¹½tv Police Department. Students can walk the paved walkway or can ride the IndiGo shuttle to their residence hall. The Robertshaw parking lot is large enough to accommodate all on-campus students with a parking space. The long-term Robertshaw parking permits never sell out.

The cost of the long-term Robertshaw permit is $225 and will be valid for the fall and spring semesters only. The Long-Term Robertshaw permits expire on the date of spring graduation and must be purchased again, starting August 1, for the beginning of the fall semester.The permit can be purchased through your Parking Portal Account with a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover card. Permits can also be purchased in the Parking and Transportation Office with cash, check, or Crimson Cash. Step-by-step instructions are available. The long-term Robertshaw permits are virtual.

The long-term Robertshaw parking permit allows you to park in the only. Vehicles may be brought to main campus for the purpose of loading and unloading only. Four-way flashers must be activated in the loading/unloading zones. Violators will be ticketed and/or towed at the vehicle owner’s expense. This is applicable 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

If the permit will not be used for the entire term, please email parking-services@iup.edu with your full name, banner number, and reason you are requesting a refund. A refund will be issued on a prorated basis through the Student Billing Office.

Undergraduate students living in the Ä¢¹½tv residence halls and looking for long-term parking in the summer should contact the Parking and Transportation Office.

Graduate Students

Graduate students living in the Ä¢¹½tv residence halls can obtain a permit to park in the Pratt Suites East lot.  Graduate students must have an active Long-Term Robertshaw Lot permit before upgrading to a Pratt Suites East Lot permit.  Long-Term Robertshaw permits can be purchased through your or at the Parking and Transportation Office.  Step-by-step instructions are available.  To obtain the Pratt Suites East Lot permit, graduate students should go to the Parking and Transportation Office.  Undergraduate students living in an Ä¢¹½tv residence hall are not eligible for a Graduate Pratt Suites East Lot permit.

Graduate students, living in the Ä¢¹½tv residence halls, looking for long-term parking in the summer should contact the Parking and Transportation Office.
