Student permits are one-year permits and must be renewed every year starting August 1. Faculty and staff permits are three-year permits and expire July 31, 2025. They must be renewed August 1.
Log in to your .
Add vehicles (vehicles must be added before attempting to get a permit):
- Click Vehicles (You must register all vehicles that you will be driving).
- Click Add Vehicle.
- Add vehicle information and click Next.
DO NOT put a - (hyphen) or a space in the plate number.
Purchase your permit:
- Click Permits (top left of page).
- Click Get Permits.
- Click Purchase Permit.
- Verify your address and click Next. If the address is incorrect, you must update your address in MyÄ¢¹½tv on the My Information, Data, and Accounts card under Update Contact Information. You must wait 24 hours after updating your address to apply for a permit.
- Select the permit that you are applying for. If you are a faculty, staff, or commuter, select your specific permit. If you are living on campus, select Long Term. If you need a motorcycle permit, select Motorcycle.
- Read the page, click the box to agree to the terms, and click Next.
- At this point, you may add additional vehicle information or select your current vehicle(s) if there are no changes. You can add multiple vehicles.
- Click Next.
- View Cart: If everything is correct, click Pay Now.
- Payment Information: Review this page, click the box to agree to the terms, and click Pay Now.
- Click Next (If you are purchasing a Long-Term Permit, you must enter your credit card information.).
- Review the information and make sure it is correct. Click Next.
- You will be sent a message to your Ä¢¹½tv email to verify your permit.
- Log out.
Faculty, Staff, Commuter, and Long Term permits are virtual and are associated with your vehicle's license plate number. You will not receive a physical permit.
